The Hollow Grip
Can't let go of all I hold , Stuck on a breath I can’t let go. All my life I’ve held this loose, Until I got nothing to lose. Canyon opening in my chest, A static sound that does not know rest. The wide-open sky with air sucked out, The kind of end we don't talk about. I finally let the anchor go— Just to find how deep "nothing" goes. A heavy dark I’ve come to know, With nowhere left for the ghost to go.
